Dont make fish clean the seas

“If you’re so worried about a bit a trash, why don’t you stop whining and take care of it yourself?” They ask.

“It’s not making you sick. We can drink our water just fine.” They say, but they have filtration systems.

“You don’t have to have litter-free waters. Clean seas? That’s just a cosmetic concern. You’re going to be fine.”
But they don’t have to pull the plastic out of their gills,
nor wipe the oil and chemicals from their stinging eyes.

Those who pollute the ocean, and yet have never even swam in it should not expect the fish to clean it up.
They don’t know what it’s like
never entirely. . .
